Chromatographic analysis can be done easily with the help of our U.V. Cabinet which has been specially created for the purpose of detecting traces of minerals and studying of old samples. This device makes use of ultra violet fluorescence to investigate chromatographic patterns under different lightning conditions found in laboratories. To simplify the process of analysis, it has an independent switches at the top which speeds up the entire operation and facilitates ease of use. It also has black curtains to facilitate a dark space on which a bright florescence can be projected. This dark shade also helps the operator to adjust the sample and switch the lights with great flexibility. In order to increase the durability of the cabinet, we have fabricated its body from heavy duty metal and provided two side handles to facilitate its easy transportation. 

Viewing of Chromatograms:

The cabinet in this device swiftly processes the chromatograms via three different methods for identification of separate parts. Also,  this cabinet can produce long wave, short wave ultra violet light as well as white light lamp in compact table top. Viewing of chromatograms is easy in this device with help of long waves of range 3600-4000 A as well as short wave of about 2500 A in ultra violet or white light. A mixture ultraviolet lights of different intensity can also be used for viewing. Since the cabinet is a self contained unit, it can be used to make chromatograms and also for studying general fluorescence.

Application :

The offered UV cabinets are helpful in the detection of old traces of minerals in investigative studies.  The chromatograms can be used to identify the following through:

  • Long wave : chromatograms have fluorescing spots which can help in detection of compounds such as dyestuffs, vanillin's flavones, alkaloids, colored stuff etc.
  • Short wave : Can detect complex compounds such as barbiturates purine and pyrimidine derivatives ,PHT-aminoacids, DNP -amino acids and steroids.
