Every gas plays a crucial role in the atmosphere and no other gas can play the role of another one. Similarly, one gas unit cannot play the role of another unit, taking this aspect into consideration, we offer Gas Combustion Unit that has been designed for the propane gas and all other natural gases that does not work with the Butane. These units are extremely safe and is highly demanded in the market for their efficacy and performance. Sturdily built using thin perforated sheet for supporting the burner and after the completion of welding with the diverter, the premix is equally distributed. Depending upon the requirement, the housing of the unit can be availed with and without collar.

Any combustion system with higher level of safety is known by the composition of gases. Each system is made taking a single gas into consideration, this is being the reason, a system designed for propane cannot be used by Butane because its self ignition temperature is 450 degree Celsius that can flashback and cause explosion if used with natural gas or propane. Therefore, safety of the system depends upon the type of gas used in the system.

Chemistry of Combustion

In general, water (H2O) and Carbon dioxide (CO2) are the achieved by products of the hydrocarbons.

Construction of MFB Burner

The burner is supported by a thin perforated sheet as the cloth does alone does not have any strength of its own. Housing of the combustion unit is engineered using stainless steel SS304 from which the gas can enter from the back or side. However, its height will be increased when the gas will enter from the side of the housing. MFB cloth used in the unit finds usage mainly for the blue applications where low density is 1.5 kg/m2.

Radiant/ Blue flame modes

The flow of premix leads up to the heat intensity of 100- 500 kw/m2. Based upon this, the process of the combustion is conducted within the surface of the burner itself. This heats up and glow the surface while transferring the heat in the radiant form and this process is known as infrared mode. However, the process of radiation occurs at the temperature of 1050 degree Celsius. If the quantity of premix is increased, nitrogen is flown into excess, resulting in the cooling down of burner. When the process of combustion is carried outside the burner, then the mode is called as blue flame mode. But, the intensity of the flame can be high as 20 MW/m2.

Efficiencies in Radiant Mode

Higher amount of combustion occurs at lower level of intensities at the surface. The efficiency of the radiant is about 55 to 60% high at 125 KW/m2 and below 100 KW/m2, the flame can't sustain. However, this efficiency can be easily increased at any  position with the addition of a grid at the front.
